Java.Solomonli.com was always a dream of mine to implement, meaning, I always wanted to create a website from scratch. Starting at the age of 11, I mucked around with Basic. My university studies built upon my childhood activities, which led to my first job using Jade. Dissatisfied with my life in general, I left these things behind me:
JADE C Pascal Fortran Basic Assembler the good old Commodore 64My Uncle advised me to delve into Java and presented with the opportunity at Mercedes or back then Daimler Chrysler, I began my Java journey.
I've been with Java now since 1999. I started out with JDK 1.16 and EJB 1.0 using IBM WebSphere as the application server. Since then it has always been Java, Java and more Java. Over the years I always had big dreams of building a website from scratch, including the middleware without paying for a single license. But, like many things, big plans often lead to no results. This time I've utilised docker containers combining nginx, keycloak, spring boot 3 and angular 20 with server side rendering.
