Spring Boot

In 2016 I was still convinced that Java EE had a good future and was capable of competing with spring boot. That all changed, when I was introduced to spring boot. I was pleasantly suprised with its ability to adapt to evolving requirements. I really like standards, but they can often bog you down and slow down progress. Spring boot was advancing rapidly, JSF was stuck, GWT was loosing traction and angular was evolving fast. Spring boot offered a great deal including real Rest integration, Oath 2 security integration, great testing capabilities and felt easy to work with, when using angular.
